BottomScanner/Tooltip
Fra Norganna's AddOns
If you are currently scanning with BottomScanner, or have BottomScanner loaded and have the tooltip option turned on, you will see some additional information at the bottom of an item's tooltip:
BottomScanner prices IQR Mean Conservative Valuation ([some text here]) (Auction Fee) (Deposit Cost)
- IQR Mean is the Auctioneer calculated Inter-Quartile mean value of the item. This is auctioneer's best guess as to the buyout value of the item
- Conservative is a cross-server average price for the item, grabbed from Allakhazam in the past. It is a hard-coded value
- Valuation gives you two pieces of information - the BottomScanner calculated total net value of the item, and the method it used to get that value. The method options are:
- Fixed worth - if you have set a fixed worth for this item using the "/btm worth" command
- Custom - if you used your own custom BaseRule to determine the Valuation price
- Auctioneer - the auctioneer Inter-Quartile median price was used
- Conservative - the cross-server conservative median was used
- Don't Buy - if there is an error, or no Auctioneer or Conservative data exists for this item, you will see this message
- Auction Fee is the AH sales fee you are estimated to need to pay. If you use a custom baserule you can set this value yourself (and incorporate it into the Valuation above). Otherwise it is calculated as 5% of the Valuation price above (i.e. the home faction AH fee).
- Deposit Cost is the deposit cost of the item. If you use a custom baserule you can set this value yourself (and incorporate it into the Valuation above). Otherwise it is calculated as as the standard 24h listing fee for the zone you are currently in.
