<lang:en> Auctioneer Advanced has a basic philosophy that we try to change as little as possible of the default interface. The Browse tab is the one primary exception to this rule.

An Overview of the Auctioneer Advanced Browse Tab

Here is the "default" browse tab as it looks when it's first opened or when it has completed a task.

Ignore the "Search Queue" listing at the bottom, that is actually coming from WoWEcon.

Scanning Related Items

Starting at the top of the frame, you'll notice we've added several buttons. The first three control the Auction House scanning process. From left to right, clicking on them will stop, start a page by page scan, pause, and start a GetAll Auction House scan.

If you click on the play button to start a scan (or start it in some other way, such as a getall scan), you'll see indications that scanning has begun.

• The "play" button will disable, and the "stop" and "pause" buttons will enable.
• Depending on your settings, you may see pages of auctions begin to scroll by, or you may just see a placeholder slide telling you that scanning is underway.
• You'll also see a new frame appended to the top-right side of the AH, telling you that scanning is in process (note that the following picture is showing a getall scan, which downloads the entire AH in on swoop, which is how it is scanning almost 20k auctions at once):

Once scanning is completed, Auctioneer Advanced will begin processing. Basically, we start looking through the results of the scan and updating the price statistics for every item seen (or even not seen) in the scan. This process can take a bit of time (a minute or so normally, a few minutes for slower computers, larger auction houses, or folks with slow connections).

There are three phases to processing. The first goes by so fast in most cases that you may not even notice it. The second typically takes the longest amount of time. The third is somewhere in between.

Once Processing is completed, if you have the appropriate options set, Auctioneer Advanced will output a "post-scan summary" to your designated chat frame, telling you what the results of the scan were.

For example, in this case, there were 19,839 auctions scanned. 18,125 were in our snapshot before we did this scan. 12,621 auctions were unchanged from the last scan. 2,983 were changed and updated. 2,345 new auctions were found. 2,521 items were removed because they no longer exist (either cancelled, purchased, or expired). 1,890 were filtered out by one of the user-selected filters (outlier, seller, etc.).

Real Time Search

The next button on the frame is the "Real Time Search" button, which looks like a magnifying glass. Hovering your mouse over the button will give you a tooltip explaining what the button does: left-click to start/stop real-time search, or right click to bring up the Search UI.

In this image, you'll see that the magnifying glass icon is highlighted, indicating that Real Time Search is active. In this case, it is currently on page 1, because the options have been set to enable "top-scanning" as well, looking to bid on low priced auctions which are about to end. A few seconds after this screenshot was taken, Auctioneer Advanced switched to page 394, the last page, to look there for newly added deals.

Compact UI

Note in the above image that the main section of the window that displays the list of auctions is also not the default WoW interface. This is because the Auctioneer Advanced "Compact UI" setting is enabled. This replacement UI gives more Auctioneer related information than the standard WoW interface, and is highly recommended.

You'll notice each auction line is color coded to indicate how good of a deal each item would be, based on your Auctioneer Advanced PriceLevel settings. As an example, the first line is blue, which means it is the best available deal - the item is very cheap compared to its Appraiser price. The second line is yellow, indicating that the item is priced at about the Appraiser price. The rest of the lines are all red - these items are very bad deals, priced well above the Appraiser price.

Also note that the price listed for the first item is shown in green, not the normal white or yellow. This indicates that the user is currently the high bidder on the item.

It is worth noting that Auctioneer Advanced also provides you with the option to increase the size of the font used, and increase the overall AH scale, if the default Compact UI font is too small for you to read.

Configuration Button

The final button on the frame is the Configuration button. This button gives you a shortcut to the Compact UI options window. </lang>

Scannen von Related Items

Fangen wir mal mit dem oberen Fensterrahmen. Sie merken, wir haben viele Buttons hinzugefügt. Die ersten drei kontrollieren den Scan-Prozeß des AHs. Sie erledigen, von links nach rechts, folgende Aufgaben: Stoppen , starten eines Bild zu Bild Scans, pausieren und starten eines Getall-Scans, bei dem alles auf einmal abgefragt wird.

Wenn Sie nun auf den "Spiel" (play) Button clicken, um einen Scan zu starten, oder Sie einen Getall-Scan einleiten, werden Sie einen Hinweis erhalten, daß der Scan begonnen hat.

• Der "Spiel"-Button wird deaktiviert, und die "Stop" und "Pause" Bottons werden aktiviert.
• Je nach Ihren Einstellungen, können Sie die gescrollten Auktionsseiten oder einen Hinweis sehen, daß der Scan gerade ausgeführt wird.
• Sie sehen ein oben auf der rechten Seite des AHs angehängtes neues Fenster, mit dem Hinweis, daß der Scan gerade ausgeführt wird. Folgendes Bild zeigt ein Getall-Scan, der das gesamte AH auf einen Streich herunterlädt, womit es fast 20 Tausend Auktionen auf einmal scant.

Einmal wenn der Scan fertig ist, beginnt Auctioneer Advanced die Daten abzuarbeiten. Grundsätzlich geht es darum, sich die Ergebnisse des Scans anzuschauen und die Statistik für jeden beobachteten (oder nicht beobachteten) Gegenstand zu aktualisieren. Dieser Prozeß kann ein bißchen Zeit einnehmen, normalerweise eine Minute, einige Minute für langsame Rechner, große Auktionshäuser, oder bei langsamer Verbindung.

Der Aktualisiserungsprozeß hat drei Phasen. Die erste geht so schnell, daß Sie diese meistens nicht mal mitbekommen. Die zweite braucht gewöhnlicherweise die meiste Zeit. Die dritte Phase liegt irgendwo dazwischen.

Einmal wenn der Aktualisierungsprozeß beendet ist, und Sie die geeignete Einstellungen gesetzt haben, wird Auctioneer Advanced eine Post-Scan-Zusammenfassung mit den Scan-Ergebnissen in Ihrem Chatfenster ausgeben.

In diesem Fall wurden 19 389 Auktionen gescant. 18 125 waren in unserer Momentaufnahme bereits bevor wir den Scan gestartet haben. Bei 12 621 Auktionen hat sich nichts geändert. 2 983 wurden verändert und aktualisiert. 2 345 neue Auktionen wurden nicht gefunden. 2 521 Gegenstände wurden entfernt, weil sie sich nicht mehr im AH befinden, weil ihre Auktionen abgebrochen wurden, sie tatsächlich verkauft wurden oder abgelaufen sind. 1 890 wurden druch einen Ihrer gesetzten Filter aussortiert (outlier, seller, usw).

Echtzeitsuche

Der nächste Button des Fensterrahmens, der wie eine Lupe aussieht, leitet eine Echtzeitsuche ein. Beim Schweben mit der Maus über dem Button erscheint eine erklärende Sprechblase mit dem Inhalt: Linksclicken um eine Echtzeitsuche einzuleiten, oder rechtsklicken um Search UI heranzuführen.

In diesem Bild sehen Sie die hervorgehobene Lupe. Damit zeigt sie, daß die Echtzeitsuche aktiv ist. In diesem Fall ist es noch auf Seite 1, weil die Einstellungen so gesetzt sind, daß ein Scan nach billigen baldendenden Auktionen eingeleitet wurde. Einige Sekunden später wurde diese Momentaufnahme genommen, bei der Auctioneer Adcanced zur Seite 394 umgeschaltet hat, der letzten Seite, auf der Suche nach den neuesten Auktionen.

Compact UI

Beachten Sie im obigen Bild, daß der Hauptteil des Fensters, der die Auktionen auflistet, kein Teil der voreingestellten Interface ist. Das ermöglicht eben die Auctioneer Advanced Einstellung in "Compact UI". Diese Ersatznutzeroberfläche bildet mehr Informationen als die WoW Standardinterface ab, und wird deswegen von uns sehr empfohlen.

Sie werden sicher auch gemerkt haben, daß jede Auktionslinie farblich gekennzeichnet ist, je nachdem wie gut in jedem eine Fall ein Geschäft sein könnte; dies geschieht auf der Grundlage Ihrer Einstellungen beim Auctioneer Advanced Preispegel. Die zweite Linie ist gelb; die erste is blau und diese ist damit das beste Geschäft -dieser Gegenstand ist viel billiger als der Appraiser-Preis. Die zweite Linie ist gelb und damit ist der Gegenstand um den Appraiser-Preis herum. Die restlichen Linien sind alle rot -diese Auktionen sind schlechte Geschäfte; sie stehen über dem Appraiser-Preis.

Der Preis des ersten Gegenstandes wird grau angezeit und nicht wie normalerweise weiß oder gelb. Dies zeigt daß der Nutzer im Augenblick der höchste Bieter ist.

Schließlich ist es noch zu erwähnen, daß mit Auctioneer Advanced Sie auch die Schriftgröße wie auch die Gesamtgröße des AH-Fenster ändern können.

Konfigurations Button

Der letzte Button im Rahmen ist der Konfikurationsbutton. Dieser Knopf ist eine Abkürzungstaste zum Einstellungsfenster des Compact UI. </lang>
